- Should America provide more funding for SNAP? If so, how much of an increase? If not, how does the current funding seem appropriate?
If we have the power to feed the hungry, we should. I think we should return the funding, after adjusting for inflation, of SNAP back to the mid 70's rates, plus an extra 15% of that, because the situation is worse than ever. That money should be coming from the super-bloated defense budget.

I think the current definition of "food insecurity" is suitable for America, but I think the definition of starving is going multiple days without food, for a continuous amount of time. If you get a meal twice or three times a week, you are kinda starving...
